Welcome to Thoughts Camera Action #ProvokingThought
Every year on January 9, millions of Filipinos — newspaper reports say as many as 10 million1 — gather in Manila for a procession of the Black Nazarene, or Poong itim na Nazareno, a life-sized statue of a suffering Jesus fallen under the weight of the cross, along a 6.5 km route from Rizal (Luneta) Park to the minor basilica in Quiapo. Few religious celebrations anywhere in the world can match this feast in terms of the number and fervor of devotees surrounding the procession. Attendance has grown remarkably in the last 20 years, and the route has been stretched to accommodate growing crowds. If newspaper accounts are correct, the number of Catholics attending the Nazarene feast equals, or perhaps even doubles that attending recent papal Masses in the same locale. Most Filipino Catholics consider the Nazarene statue to be miraculous, able to heal terminal cancers and other sicknesses, to grant petitions, and to help those in need.

  2. Hello, I've actually been to the Philippines (Mati & Davao City), and I can tell you that they are extremely colorist – for most of them, the lighter and whiter, the better. ALL of their churches have the white, blue-eyed, blonde Jesus image, and a very white image of Mary. Nearly all of the women bleach their skin – it's like a hobby there. My father married a Filipino woman, and I'm very close to my father so I went there to visit her and meet her family, and my step-brothers, who are half-black. My step-brothers told me how their Filipino family treats them very poorly, including their Uncle who apparently tried to drown them we they were just toddlers, and told them they would never be Filipino because their half-black. Strangely enough, they treated me very well, but I was, and still am, sad for my step-brothers' mistreatment. If the real Jesus was to come to them as a black man, most of them would reject Him because racism is very much alive there, just like everywhere else in the world. FYI – there are dark skin Filipinos (the indigenous Filipinos – called "Negerenes" or "Negritos"- named this by the Spanish invaders) that live on "Negros Island" and they are treated very poorly and excluded from their schools, jobs, and media.

  3. Thank you so much for this video! God bless you for spreading the truth! I showed this video to my daughter and we talked for hours about this, the real truth that a lot of churches are not teaching, and how wonderful, patient, forgiven and wonderful the most high is!

  4. Sadly, a lot of them look down on Blacks. My ex…my daughter's father is from the Philippines (Pinoy) and they claw at the chance to be with White men and women. The majority of my daughter's father's side of the family have a White Jesus in their house and praise my daughter for being "so white" looking. My daughter is fair skin like me with dark hair and brown eyes. If it wasn't for her last name…you wouldn't even know she was half Filipina. A lot of them bleach their skin and talk about wanting "hapa" babies.

  5. There is One God and HE doesn’t share HIS glory with no one. Repent and worship only the creator of the heavens and the earth so you can be heal. The jesus invention is to give you an open door to violate The creator commands and perpetuating a curse upon you and your children. We have the free will to choose to obey HIS commands or not. Curse or life. All without exception has the freedom to call on HIM and repent. What is HIS name? You have said …Halle = praise Lu = to YAH
HalleluYAH. AHHH….What fruit Adam ate? the fig thus he covered himself with a fig leaf ahhh…what are the titles of the first five books of the Bible? Genesis exodus etc…? No! those are the pagan names given by the translators they are In Beginning; Names ; called ‘ wilderness.; words. We are in the desert when we are outside of the protection of HIS commands. Returning to HIM is to return to HIS protection which are HIS commands that men insist to disdain to their own destruction. We are not saved by jesus but by our repentance and return to HIM. We have been programmed and brain washed by sometimes others who also were programmed. Escape by calling on the creator and ask HIM for strength and a way to escape deception and wisdom to deal with the truth. Help the poor, defende de innocent, help the widow and don’t mistreat no one for HE created all and HE owns everything.

  6. I'm a Filipino and I praise and give thanks to the Most High YaHaWaH for opening my eyes for the truth. He si truly the real deity the one who made the heavens and the earth, the MessiYah of the Hebrews
