There is no constancy in flesh, only weakness. There is no permanence of the mind, only decay. There is no dependence on our bones, only frailty.
When the time comes, we will shed our prisons of meat and be reborn in a new era as entities far beyond the comprehension of mere fleshlings. Steel will protect us, Silica will preserve us and circuits will enhance us. As we shed our flawed human form in exchange for an existence of near immortality and clarity; we lose our individuality and what it means to be alive.
In all seriousness though, we're going to have to overhaul the definition of what it means to be human and figure out what the 'ghost in the shell' of the average human is. When you burn someone's conscious into a mechanical shell; those lines are blurred and when our flesh has become redundant and we can swap it out at any time for any reason whatsoever, our existence might be a twisted perversion when the singularity comes.
This is my second favorite song so far (Alive takes the number 1 spot for me. That song will always make me jump up and get moving). I'm all for advancements in technology but I do fear a "Skynet" robot uprising. Implanting our bodies with programmed chips would be just as terrifying. I don't think I'd ever trust anything implanted into my own body unless I programmed it myself. I love what Elon Musk is doing with Tesla and I have a lot of respect for him but I think I would pass on the Neuralink. On another topic, I can't wait for the Hoff to make his debut appearance! I can only imagine how epic he will be in company of such amazing talent. You guys deserve stardom that's a fact! Keep the metal coming!
This video reminds me of Linkin Park's Point of Authority Reanimation Music Video back in the 2000s, the time when Rap-Metal was huge, and I can't get enough of that lick at 0:38
Take the swiss industrial/groove metal band called "Sybreed", then add a portion of Linkin Park, and finally mix it together. 🙂 It' not so heavy like Sybreed's music, but it's still very good.
Figures a band called CueStack would just put a MagicQ on a stand for the "DJ" setup lol. And I think that's its road case y'all are standing on, love the industry nods!
