I guess that's why a lot of black men do not love their wives because they do not love themselves a lot of the time and don't even know how to treat themselves right or respect themselves.. so I guess how can we expect them to treat they're black women right and respect them because they don't respect themselves nor like themselves. Also how can a woman Revere a man who does not even Revere himself and take proper care of himself and respect himself how is a woman supposed to honor that?

The word "subject" in Ephesians 5 verse 24 is interesting. I used to see it as downgrade, but I see a positive perspective in that term. Christ edified, washed and died for the subject "the church." Because salvation of the church is Yahshua's concern. We were wretched and undone. Because of the order Man's "subject" is his wife. Since Man is the head of his wife he should be programmed by Yahshua Christ so that he is fully equipped to cherish and impart on his wife through the teachings of Yahshua. This explains why some of today's marriages work and some fail fore some men are programmed by everything else, but Yahshua Christ. Wow! A Man can not have a successful marriage without Yahshua Christ. Like what's his/man point? What are Men here for without a subject? Wow! HALLELUYAH !
So why put emphasis on how the husband doesn't have to obey his wife, yet YAH can use the wife to give instruction or direction to her husband. Can you please explain this? Because my husband was listening, and he is constantly already being stubborn. Now this? Explain please!
