Sabbath Keeping or Resting In Jesus Christ? Hebrews 4:9 tells us that there remains a rest for the people of the Most High. Depending on who you ask, you will get a different opinion as to what this means.
Most Christians will tell you that it means Jesus is their rest. To them, Hebrews 4:8-9 means resting in “Jesus Christ.”
This means anything from flat out not keep a Sabbath to saying it means keeping a Sabbath and resting, but not fellowshipping as we are only to rest on the Sabbath. Sabbath is a shadow of their rest in “Christ,” so all we have to do is physically rest.
So wherever there is a discrepancy, we have to use precept upon precept to decipher who is right and who is wrong. So in this video, we look at whether Hebrews 4:9 means Sabbath Keeping or Resting In “Jesus Christ.”
