Harvard Professor David Sinclair thinks longevity, or extending our lifespan, is the “greatest unsolved problem in biology.”

The global life expectancy is currently hovering somewhere around 72 years old and women typically live longer than men and the age tends to be higher in developed countries and lower in impoverished nations.

Some experts argue that the tools we currently have when it comes to extending our lifespans are as simple as diet and exercise, but a healthy diet is only going to get you so far. So scientists are seeking out clues in the natural world that could help us side step growing old, some scientists even think that many of the ailments we refer to as diseases could be thought of as the symptoms of aging.

So, in addition to improving our nutrition, sleep, social life, access to health care, and so on, what else can we do to increase our chances of immortality?

  1. True story I’m 29 on paper been taking D3 for 12 years now went to test my biological age it’s 10 years less than what I’m currently so making me physically 19 internally and externally wake up ppl

The only methodologies aren't stopping or slowing aging and in fact these aren't even the methods by which these scientists are working on longevity (as we don't understand the underlying processes and as suchit would be futile). Repairing the damage is the way to a longer lifespan per experts in the field.

  3. Dr Nostradamus has predicted that human beings will live upto 200 years; although it is not clear as to when it will happen, it is just matter of time and space!

  4. There's so much more to discover than this… There is so many aspects to our biology,physiology and neurology that we can advance in, that I feel like we haven't even scratched the surface of human improvement yet….

  5. We are wasting our time and energy with anything other than the kind of work that Dr. Sinclair does. We should focus on reversing ageing. Once we've dealt with that, we can relax a bit and enjoy life. Until then, disease and death remain top obstacles.
