This might be uniquely 1st world problem. Millions of people are employed as truckers. driverless trucks, jobs to the few coders, high end engineers. What happens to the others?
Not only is it idiotic to promote self driving trucks – it is insane to agree to share the road with them. More people starve as jobs are lost and retarded computers don't even eat or feel anything. Trucks will never be driverless you know how many people do break checks on those big rigs way to many to count that's how many no way a driverless truck will be able to handle the amount of break checkers. Yes it be on camera so they probably be fine running over or even killing the person that did it but there be more road pile ups the There are currently. They need to wait till they design roads that's for auto driving only that activate automatically as soon as you get on it.

I mean, in reality they make a big deal when they program a robotic arm to pick up a set of keys off the floor, let alone would they make one if they actually made automated, GPS navigated, ground vehicles involved in complex operations which come with truck hauling business. The whole branch would have to be redesigned… The administrative paperwork, the road network, other branches of labor involved and their respectve branches etc etc…. All of this is as real as "trans-women/men".
