  1. Interesting. I heard this before but never had enough info to solidify it. Hate to say but if turkey is indeed unclean and the way it eats contributes to its uncleanness a chicken is also unclean. They eat the same way a swine eats. Literally. Its also not a fowl of the air. Very thought provoking video.

  2. Eat the meat spit out the bones. I was viewing the chat while watching video. When I was a child I got attacked by a turkey at the zoo. Being a County/City Homeboy, I grew up around them. The males are colorful with a distinct feather that sticks out from the front center chest. And, they do fly in the wild. The American Bald Eagle might as well be a vulture instead of a raptor because they are lazy, rather eat dead stuff. How about that turkey bacon, yummy ??? 🤣 Na, for real 😳 I'm done because I've heard about this topic before. Vegetables and fruits, legumes and beans, plus fish then some chicken. I miss elk. Don't eat much steak these days, nor lamb or goat. Start a garden family, Shalum Shabbat

  3. The kind of birds mentioned in Leviticus 11:13 and Deuteronomy 14:12 as unclean are birds that will eat other animals, as they are birds of prey. … An example of a clean bird to eat is the quail. Turkeys don't eat other animals do they???

Turkey Vulture. The most widespread vulture in North America, the turkey vulture is locally called “buzzard” in many areas. A turkey vulture standing on the ground can, at a distance, resemble a wild turkey. It is unique among our vultures in that it finds carrion by smell as well as by sight.

  4. I saw a few brethren speaking on this couple years back and I was convinced that turkey is unclean.
There are many wild turkeys here in the St. Louis, MO area.
    They look like walking vultures.
That dark mean does not look appetizing anymore.

  5. Old world vultures are from the accipitridae family and new world vultures are from the cathartide family. Turkeys and chickens are from the phasianidae family. I believe they are different.
