    Psalms/Tehillim Chapter 8

To the chief Musician upon Gittiyth, a MIZMOR of David

    1. O YaHuaH Adonayu, how excellent is Your name in all the earth! who has set Your glory above the heavens.
    2. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings have you ordained strength because of Your enemies, that You might still the enemy and the avenger.
    3. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;
    4. What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of Adam, that you visit him?
    5. For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honour.
    6. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet:
    7. All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
    8. The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas.
    9. O YaHuaH Adonayu, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!

    Psalms/Tehillim Chapter 9

To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A MIZMOR of David

    1. I will praise you, O YaHuaH, with my whole heart; I will show forth all Your marvellous works.
    2. I will be glad and rejoice in You: I will sing praise to Your name, O El Elyon.
    3. When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at Your presence.
    4. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat in the throne judging right.
    5. You have rebuked the heathen, You have destroyed the wicked, You have put out their name forever and ever.
    6. O enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and You have destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
    7. But YaHuaH shall endure forever: He has prepared His throne for judgment.
    8. And He shall judge the world in righteousness, He shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
    9. YaHuaH also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
    10. And they that know Your name will put their trust in You: for You, YaHuaH, have not forsaken them that seek You.
    11. Sing praises to YaHuaH, which dwells in Zion: declare among the people His doings.
    12. When He makes inquisition for blood, He remembers them: He forgets not the cry of the humble.
    13. Have mercy upon me, O YaHuaH; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, You that lift me up from the gates of death:
    14. That I may show forth all Your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in Your YaHshuaH.
    15. The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
    16. YaHuaH is known by the judgment which He executes: the wicked is snared in the work of His own hands. Higgayon. Celah.
    17. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget Elohim.
    18. For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.
    19. Arise, O YaHuaH; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in Your sight.
    20. Put them in fear, O YaHuaH: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Celah.

    Pslams/Tehillim Chapter 10

    1. Why stand you afar off, O YaHuaH? Why hide You Yourself in times of trouble?
    2. The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
    3. For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire, and blesses the covetous, whom YaHuaH abhors.
    4. The wicked, through the pride of His countenance, will not seek after Elohim: Elohim is not in all His thoughts.
    5. His ways are always grievous; your judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffs at them.
    6. He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
    7. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
    8. He sits in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places he murders the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
    9. He lies in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lies in wait to catch the poor: he catches the poor, when he draws him into his net.
    10. He crouches, and humbles himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
    11. He has said in his heart, El has forgotten: He hides His face; He will never see it.
    12. Arise, O YaHuaH; O El, lift up Your hand: forget not the humble.
    13. Wherefore does the wicked contemn Elohim? He has said in his heart, You will not require it.
    14. You have seen it; for You behold mischief and spite, to requite it with Your hand: the poor commits himself unto You; You are the helper of the fatherless.
    15. Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till You find none.
    16. YaHuaH is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of His land.
    17. YaHuaH, You have heard the desire of the humble: You will prepare their heart, You will cause Your ear to hear:
    18. To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

    Psalms/Tehillim Chapter 11

To the chief Musician, a Mizmor of David

    1. In YaHuaH put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to Your mountain?
    2. For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
    3. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
    4. YaHuaH is in His Holy Temple, YaHuaH's throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men.
    5. YaHuaH tries the righteous: but the wicked and him that loves violence His soul hates.
    6. Upon the wicked He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
    7. For the righteous YaHuaH loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.

    Psalms/Tehillim Chapter 12

To the chief Musician upon SHEMIYNIYTH, a Mizmor of David

    1. Help, YaHuaH; for the righteous man ceases; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
    2. They speak vanity everyone with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
    3. YaHuaH shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things:
    4. Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
    5. For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, says YaHuaH; I will set him in safety from him that puffs at him.
    6. The words of YaHuaH are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
    7. You shall guard them, O YaHuaH, you shall watch over them from this generation forever.
    8. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

    Pslams/Tehillim Chapter 13

To the chief Musician, A Mizmor of David

    1. How long will you forget me, O YaHuaH? forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
    2. How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
    3. Consider and hear me, O YaHuaH Elohai: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
    4. Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
    5. But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your YaHshuaH.
    6. I will sing unto YaHuaH, because He has dealt bountifully with me.

    Pslams/Tehillim Chapter 14

To the chief Musician, A Mizmor of David

    1. The fool has said in his heart, there is no Elohim. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good.
    2. YaHuaH looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek Elohim.
    3. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that does good, no, not one.
    4. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? Who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon YaHuaH.
    5. There were they in great fear: for Elohim is in the generation of the righteous.
    6. You have shamed the counsel of the poor, because YaHuaH is his refuge.
    7. Oh that the YaHshuaH of Yisrael were come out of Zion! When YaHuaH brings back the captivity of His people, YaQob shall rejoice, and Yisrael shall be glad.

    Psalms/Tehillim Chapter 15

    A Mizmor of David

    1. YaHuaH, who shall abide in Your Tabernacle? Who shall dwell in Your holy hill?
    2. He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the Truth in his heart.
    3. He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbour, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbour.
    4. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honours them that fear YaHuaH. He that swears to his own hurt, and changes not.
    5. He that puts not out his money to usury, nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.
