The oceans are all connected. A rise in one place means a rise in another. The ocean has been in the same spot where I live for over 40 years. New Zealand is fine.
I've lived in New Zealand by the sea for the last 70 years I've watched the tide go up and down each day including spring tides and some times with a storm pushing a higher tide and then the next day it's back to normal they have to stop pushing this B S on to the younger generations

So the scientists say that sea levels are rising same amount in 10 years instead of 40 years. Could the scientists earlier estimates be wrong? I don't trust scientists as they keep changing their minds anyway.

One has to ask how are they measuring it ? If it's based on water marks how do they know if New Zealand itself is not sinking. Not enough to simply give effect, a complete story would cover the claimed global warming narrative and the earth/solar science findings. The country sits on what has long been building up to what is now a very active tectonic plate.
Even if the sea around NZ rose at 1m per month, it still wouldn't be sinking anywhere near as fast as it has under Ardens government
