The God of the Whole World or the God of Israel Only?

Is the Most High the God of the whole world or the Elohim of Israel? This question is very important as it determines whom we worship.

If he is the god of everyone, then we are in trouble, because Satan has also been described as the god of this world:

2Co 4:3-4  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom THE GOD OF THIS WORLD hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Satan is the God of this world.

Modern organized religion worships an elohim that is for everyone. However, the term “the God of Israel” alone is found 90 times in the Bible. Which is it? Is he the Elohim of Israel or the Elohim of everyone?

Watch this teaching from Just a Word’s online Sabbath fellowship as we look to solve this problem.

We use the term “God” so as to reach those searching for this term. We do not endorse the Most high as “God” but as the great Sovereign Aluahym or Elohim. We do not call him “God.”

However, we are all things to all men, so that we might win some (1 Cor 9:19-23).
