  1. i need you to cover why a socialist economy cant work with modern tecnology ; i mean the soviets failed because of they didnt had the statistics for the economy , now we can have so would it work now ;;;

  2. Kind of surprised you haven’t talked about the disability side of this discussion. But then again most people forget to discuss people like me in these conversations. I have never had a job in my life, not because I don’t want to work but because I’m not able to work the hours Im expected to do and can’t do work that falls outside of the actual job description but are still expected to be done and because employers find my disability needs to be “unreasonable”. Might be a good idea to consider touching on how the economy and work place has been set up to be inaccessible to disabled people and purposely keeps us trapped in financial and social limbo

  3. You should look into underemployment; it's happening right now as [most] baby-boomers retired in the last half of 2022. It's only going to increase for around ten years. We need another baby boom! War?

  4. Great video, thank you. AI has definitely disrupted our current economy, and us humans need to adapt to survive, we need to reskill and cultivate unexplored capabilities and skills that will become more relevant in the coming years. Something that very few people talk about is: Soft Skills, human connection, empathy, the types of skills that machines will not be able to replicate in the near future.

  5. Unemployment explained…The gender Recognition Act!
    Get rid of the Reporter, The Politician, The Medical Opinion, Get rid of the Police and the Courts, Get rid of the Parents..all about making it easier…Easier to access Children and Vulnerable People.

  6. Great video as always, but you missed a very crucial part of the unemployment number… That number only represents the number of people who are actively receiving unemployment benefits, not the number of people who have exhausted their benefits or were denied unemployment, but are still unemployed and trying to find a job.

    The real unemployment number is always higher than the number we see, and often much higher.

  7. But why is it always we, the people, that needs to take the hit. Why does not the companies make a (little) lower profits. Making hundreds of millions less when they already make billions. Why does we have to get "layed off" and 100% of our personal economy dissapearing when the owner of the company has billions of unused money in his pockets, which in turn leads to people like him buying up all the hard assets like houses to "park his money" and driving the home prices insanely high which in turn makes even harder for the people to live..

  8. What's the unemployement rate when the governement does not bother ?
    What's the unemployement rate when the governement interferes with the economy ?

    COVID was a good exemple, for the governement ordered the unemployment…
    Venezuela was another good example, for the gouvernement interferes a lot to help people there…

  9. And now they're deindustrialising GERMANY! (Green cards for USA for skilled workers! ) And rare earth metals…Putin sitting on 40% world's Palladium (batteries I Phone , electric cars etc) this is where the war on China comes in…. get putin out! Blow up the pipeline! Put Nazis in Ukraine ** Walla! War in ukraine!!! More "migrants" REFUGEES

  10. Hey Johnny, keep doing these videos about macroeconomics, these are so valuable for us that has been failed by the educational system and we never made a leap to research it ourselves. Sincerely, thanks!

  11. Unemployment for us Africans is obviously influenced by the fore mentioned factors by Jonny but for us Africans it goes deeper. You have to add nepotism, tribalism, and just any form of corruption.

  12. Most high earners have a life that is about a bit more than just salaries.
    Leaving all family and friends behind just to grow your money through profitable investment is knowledge 🔥
