  2. Unemployment rate is irrelevant. What percentage of Americans are making 15 dollars an hour (the equivalent of 140k a year when first introduced)

  3. It's calculated the same in the UK. Those on benefits aren't counted as unemployed in this statistic, even though they're on unemployment benefit 🤷
