Love the work that this assembly does, however, I am humbly having an issue with what is being implied in this video.
If the specifics of the word “Sabbath” or even “Sabbath rest” is what is used to identify the true Day of Atonement falling on a Saturday, how do you then explain what is said about the Festival of Tabernacles in Leviticus 23:39?
If the first and eight day of Sukkot according to scripture are both days of “Sabbath rest” (same wording is also to describe the Day of Atonement in Leviticus 23:32) how then do the first and eighth days of Sukkot fall on a Thursday using the calendar found on your site? Shouldn’t they also fall on Saturdays like the Day of Atonement?
How does one know when to differentiate between metaphorical and literal when the word “Sabbath” is mentioned in relation to the feast days?
Shalom I Love your channel and the work you are doing in all humility and meekness I would like to point out with respect to the Day of Atonement the word afflicted H6031 does not refer to fasting but rather to humbling oneself. the Day of Atonement is a feast day a day of celebration just as we are not to fast on the 7th day Shabbat we are not to fast on any feast day.
Shalom do you have a link to the cale dar you're using?
So are all of our Shabbat from evening to evening or was just special because of the feast day
