Should We Wear Fringes On Our Garments?

Should we wear fringes on our garments (Numbers 15, verse 37-41)? or is this commandment done away with? Was it merely a ceremonial law back then in the old testament and therefore no longer of use to us today in the new testament?

Since it was given to help us to remember the commandments, do we no longer need it, as the law is now written in our hearts?

These questions and more are answered about yet another commandment that was given to the children of Israel to be kept forever (throughout their generations – Numbers 15-38), but now many believe it is done away.

  1. Praise Yahuah, my question to is, my brother , are the Indians hebrew? because I can recall as a child seeing them on movies and they r wearing fringes on the hem of their tops and pants. And another thing, should I have fringes on all my clothes or make like a overall to wear over my clothes seeing that all this is new to me, I need your advise, thanks. Keep teaching the word my brother I am learning a lot. Thanks again to Yahuah for u .

  2. Fringes don't mean cords of yarn hanging from your garments. If so you should have them on the boarders of all your garment as it is commanded in Deuteronomy 22:12

    Deuteronomy 22:12
[12]Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

4 quarters of thy vesture not one quarter as you see them today

  3. Thank you, brother, for this teaching. Wonderful marvelous teaching. Set apart, people. Even as a Gentile, we still have to be set apart. People don't understand that. Shalom brother
