IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD (Part 1) | What does John 1 really mean?

John 1 (KJV) says: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Aluah, and the Word was Aluah. Now the exact meaning of this has been the subject of debate among believers worldwide.

Does it mean that the Messiah being the Word made flesh is the Father? or does it mean something else?

In this vlog, we go into John 1 to see exactly what John meant. This is the first of a 2-part series. In part 2, we will look at exactly what is meant by verse 3: John 1-3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

These two teachings together will explain the meaning of John 1 and solve the mystery that has eluded most of us since we started reading the Bible.

  1. Thanks again for clarification of the scriptures. Oh the deception taught in religion definitely our downfall. Yahuah continue to awaken his people through His word and His prophets in these last days. Enough is enough!

  2. I have to correct you, brother. Sorry, Mashiach does not mean “messenger” the word for messenger is Malakh. Mashiach literally means Annointed. All of the kings of Israel were Mashiach, also there is no such thing as “The” Messiah. I have to actually disagree with your teaching here too, as it’s not how I understood John 1:1. I understand it like this: In the beginning was the word(Torah:teaching) and the word was with Elohiym and the word(Torah) was an Elohyim. Hence the Torah was made flesh.
    Hence it says:

    Dewaryim 30:11-14
Surely, this Instruction which I enjoin upon you this day is not too baffling for you, nor is it beyond reach.
It is not in the heavens, that you should say, “Who among us can go up to the heavens and get it for us and impart it to us, that we may observe it?”
⁦Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, “Who among us can cross to the other side of the sea and get it for us and impart it to us, that we may observe it?”
No, the thing is very close to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to observe it.

The Torah was made flesh I.e. it was written down.

Hence Why rabbi yeshuah said, that who ever keeps the least of these will be called least in the kingdom and whoever keeps the commandments will be the greatest.

  3. Let Us in John 1:1 the Word was Yah! Plural yet singular! John 1:14
“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Yeshua was worshiped was sinless was everlasting eternal and has Glory! He is the Lord God robed in flesh! Fully man and fully God! It’s that simple! John 1:1 is clear in all translations! There are three that bear record in heaven! The Father the Word and the Blood! These three are One! Yes One Yah in three positions! The Word is our creator and Savior robed in flesh! 1 Timothy 3:16
“And beyond controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

  4. Greetings ach. I agree with a lot of your teachings and in fact credit one of your videos (Who is Jesus Christ?) as a video which really shook me to the core when I first watched it Dec of 2021. I had to watch it about 3 times and through some serious prayer and fasting and a number of confirmations and answered prayers I ended up leaving Christianity for The Way, The Truth and the Life… Praise Yah. I had to leave the pagan names and false doctrines behind. Wasn't an easy decision to say the least, but one that's been incredibly life changing and I'm so grateful for. So thank you for allowing Yah to use you in the way he has!

However, there are a couple of teachings I've looked into EXTENSIVELY that I can't get on board with and this is one of them. I think when I have to work too hard to make scripture say what I want vs what it simply says that's when I run into problems. I don't have a dog in this fight. I'm just seeking the truth. Pure and simple. I'm not attached to any Church or particular doctrine. Just seeking truth, just like I'm sure you are, which is why I'm taking the time to write this because I was lead to.

I really hope you read this and take another look at this topic as well as the virgin birth (topic for another day and another time).

I do not believe in the trinity, neither do I believe in a twinity or in the oneness doctrine of Yah and Yahusha being the same being. I believe they are separate beings but are one in terms of being of one mind like we are commanded to be (John 17: 21). The Mashiach is the son of Yah and not Yah himself and is subject to the Father (1 Cor 15: 24, 27). The Mashiach has his own will (Luke 22: 42) and his own thoughts (Phil 2: 6). I think we agree on these points. I do however believe in a pre-incarnate Mashiach as indicated in so many verses of scripture. This I know you disagree with. I'll try to post a few here and would love to hear your thoughts.

These are some verses, and this is not comprehensive, there's more but let's start with these: Micah 5: 2, Prov 8: 22-36, 1 Cor 1: 24, Prov 30: 4, John 1: 1-3, 14 – 15, 3: 16, Ps 33: 6, Gen 3: 8, Eph 3: 9, Col 1: 15-16, Heb 1: 2,6, 11: 3, 2 Peter 3: 5, Rev 3: 14. Phil 2: 6 suggests that he had thoughts before his earthly birth through mary. Again, there's a lot of work I would have to do and things I would have to ignore to argue against the pre-incarnate Mashiach. I do agree 100% that when he came he became 100% man and 100% flesh BUT he was filled with the Ruach without measure as you pointed out (John 3: 34).

I know you just got to SA but I hope you'll have time to revisit this and possibly reconsider your position as Yah gives revelation and if I'm wrong I'd love to understand why and also be lead to accept the truth. I'll be praying for your group over there and ask for prayers as well. With a family it's not as easy to get up and leave but I hope to be back in the land of our ancestors ASAP. Stay blessed and stay safe.

    Shalom ach
